Case Study: Portfolio Insights

Duration: 6 months

Portfolio Insights is a comprehensive cloud-based portfolio analytics platform to evaluate individual investments, managers, and aggregate portfolio performance across multiple risk and return dimensions. Our team worked with the portfolio management, risk and data teams to standardize data ingestion and storgage, update analytic scripts to a single unified programming language, and build a cloud-based multi-user application with real-time visualizations such that the firm could access a single source of data and analytics across all teams.

Case Study: Topping Capital + CartoFront

Duration: 4 months

Our team works with financial technology investors and their portfolio companies to evaluate technologies best suited for future growth. We worked with Topping Capital, an early stage investor, and CartoFront, one of their portfolio companies evaluating a strategic pivot to understand their existing technology and what to build for their new business model. The process included a 2-week technology audit, followed by a 1-month customer discovery process and 2-month full-stack application build.

Rapid Proof-of-Concept Development

Case Study: Aptamigo

Duration: 4 months

Aptamigo is a Chicago-based apartment brokerage that aggregates unit-level data to provide renters with the most detailed information prior to signing a lease. Our team worked with Aptamigo's management team to create a self-service search portal for brokers and renters with tailored search filters and visualizations. We further created a customer management portal for brokers to track the progress of potential renters throughout the rental process, improving onboarding speeds, and increasing customer conversion and loyalty. Aptamigo has now expanded to additional cities, including: Denver and Atlanta.
